Enter what Shopify doesn't know

Product cost, shipping, fees, packing, fixed costs: net profit depends on them.

Everything is set in Settings → Costs. The more accurate these lines, the more accurate your net profit.

  • COGS — cost per variant, pulled from Shopify's “cost per item”. A change also applies to past orders.
  • Shipping — a cost per order.
  • Payment fees — a percentage and a fixed amount. Presets for Shopify Payments, PayPal, Mollie, Klarna. Choosing your Shopify plan (Basic, Shopify, Advanced, Plus) prefills the transaction fees.
  • Handling — a cost per order.
  • Monthly fixed costs — subscriptions, apps, accountant. They're prorated over the period shown.
A store setting removes collected VAT from net profit. If it's off, VAT isn't deducted. You can also estimate income tax (regime and rate) and the VAT you owe (collected minus deductible): these are estimates, not the base P&L.
