Connect your Shopify store
Installation starts from the App Store. You enter neither your domain nor your password.
Installation starts from the Shopify App Store, in your store admin. Shopify passes the store's identity during OAuth. ProfitPilotPro doesn't ask for your domain, and never asks for your Shopify password.
As soon as you connect, an initial sync imports locations, products, inventory, orders and customers, then calculates the metrics. The pixel, however, only starts once you turn on the ProfitPilotPro Tracking extension in the theme editor. It's the only step Shopify reserves for the merchant.
The authorization asks for read access (orders, products, customers, inventory, theme) and a single write access, limited to registering the checkout Web Pixel. ProfitPilotPro doesn't change your theme, products or prices. Orders and customers can stay pending until Shopify approves access to protected customer data. Products and inventory sync in the meantime.
Today, orders come from Shopify. WooCommerce and PrestaShop aren't connected.
