Duplicate your Klaviyo abandonment flows
Onto ProfitPilotPro events: one cloned flow, one “ProfitPilot - …” trigger, the rest of your emails stays the same.
ProfitPilotPro can send Klaviyo six events under its own name: ProfitPilot - Visiteur identifié (identified visitor), Paiement commencé (started checkout), Actif sur le site (active on site), Produit consulté (viewed product), Ajout au panier (added to cart) and Réponse au sondage (survey answer). They come on top of the events from Klaviyo's Shopify integration without replacing them: a flow only reacts to the event you pick as its trigger.
When an event is sent
- You turned it on in Integrations → Klaviyo → Sending to Klaviyo: the main switch, then the event's own switch.
- The visitor accepted marketing in the store's cookie banner. Without that consent, nothing is sent.
- ProfitPilotPro links this visitor to an email address: given on the store, or recognized on another device of the same customer. An anonymous visitor is never sent.
- Each event carries a unique ID: if it's sent again, Klaviyo records it only once. “Actif sur le site” is sent once per visit.
Which event for which flow
- ProfitPilot - Paiement commencé: abandoned checkout, instead of “Started Checkout”. The link sent is the store's cart page.
- ProfitPilot - Ajout au panier: abandoned cart, instead of “Added to Cart”.
- ProfitPilot - Produit consulté: browse abandonment, instead of “Viewed Product”.
- ProfitPilot - Actif sur le site: follow up with customers who come back to the store.
- ProfitPilot - Réponse au sondage: segment buyers by channel (
Canalproperty).
Duplicate an abandonment flow
- 1In ProfitPilotPro, turn the event on and wait for its first send (the Klaviyo card's counter goes to 1): Klaviyo creates the metric when it receives the first event.
- 2In Klaviyo, open Flows, then the ⋯ menu of the abandonment flow to duplicate, and choose Clone.
- 3Under Trigger, pick the matching “ProfitPilot - …” metric, then Clone flow. Klaviyo doesn't change the trigger of an existing flow: cloning is the intended way.
- 4Review the cloned flow's filters and the emails' dynamic content: they may read properties of the old trigger. Keep a “Placed Order zero times since starting this flow” filter.
- 5The cloned flow's messages start as drafts: set them to Live, then stop the old flow so the same customer isn't emailed twice.
